~*We are back*~

Hi All!

I have been missing in action too long. I was busy setting up my new shop since Forever Blooms Decor Gifts appear at DECOCLAY.COM.

Yes, we have shop now in Woodlands Singapore. It is actually a retail shop so we revamped it as a clay gallery and training center. And I have a new business partner too and her name is Mas who also loves clay arts.

We feel blessed to have a shop now that we can share and spread the love of the DECOclay arts to everyone. We are offering DECO curriculums and we also have other type of hobbies that we will introduce soon.

So whoever staying near to our shop, do come and pop by...

~*Busy month of March - Halal Food Exhibition & Tropical Flowers course in HK*~

It had been an exciting month of March as I was participated in Halal food exhibition with Sweet Merveilles sisters on 19th till 22nd March 2009. We had a good response and also our booth was spotted by one of the reporters from BH. It came out in Berita Minggu (Sunday News) last weekend about Sweet Merveilles macarons. So to say I feel honoured to be part of their projects too...hehe.

After the expo end on that weekend , I had to fly to Hong Kong to attend a Tropical flowers course with instructor Ms Yukiko Kazuko from Deco Clay Craft Academy Hawaii. The Deco Clay Craft Academy organised two days workshop in Hong Kong for instructors who are living in Asia. At last I had the opportunity to learn from Yukiko sinsei although I did not have the chance to go as far as to Hawaii or Japan to take the course.

We had to learn new technique of doing tropical flowers which are popular in USA. The right photos are the projects that was done by her which I need to finish in order for me to teach. It was great experience as she had share her skills and talents with everyone who had attended the course.

And I also had another chance to meet up with Yukiko's mother, Miyai Kazuko Sinsei. She is the founder of DECO Clay Craft Academy. She is a truly great clay crafter. She had published a numerous Japanese clay books and hold a number of her own clay exhibitions for the past 28 years.

And not to forget, I met up again with my original instructor Ms Dorothy Tong from Hong Kong. She is such sweet soul who had helped me from scratch to learn the beauty of this clay art. I can't wait to meet up her again soon.

And check out the next month in April, it will be another great and busy month as I will be start teaching a new batch of beginners to learn art of clay.

So whoever wants to learn this clay art, check out my calender that you want to attend. All the days and dates are almost full. You can give me a call before you want to attend it.

Do stay tune for my next updates.

~*Wedding Photo from Australia*~

I've got a surprised email from Anna Phu who is one of my Australian bride aka my husband niece. She has given me few copies of her wedding photos for me to share with you all.

I have sent her almost a complete set of wedding flowers on her big day last November 2008. She has requested black and white colour for herself, groom, bridesmaids and grooms' best men.

I really like her wedding theme colour. Anna themed up purple colour with black, white and champagne... I never thought purple colour would look great with the other three colours. Indeed it is a great combination...

So thanks again to Anna and Lawrence to include me on your big day...we hope to see you soon!
